Officer responded to 800 block of West Oak at 7:12 a.m. regarding a “large aggressive bird chasing children.” On arrival, located adult male wild turkey strutting and gobbling near hens in residential yard adjacent to playground. Turkey showed no interest in pedestrians. Homeowner confirmed flock has nested in neighborhood since 2022. Turkey returned to roost in cottonwood without incident.
