The East Main Street Merchants Association will convene Tuesday to finalize the implementation timeline for the holiday light corridor illuminated since December 14. Association president Dale Hargrove said the group needs to “get ahead of the process” before next year’s installation, which has already been scheduled by the city contractor. Agenda items include bulb color temperature, a debate tabled since 2019, and whether to pursue a grant for lights the downtown improvement district purchased in March. Public comment welcome.
