Longtime Bridger Canyon resident Hank Miller will host the third annual “I Remember When This Was All Alfalfa” storytelling night at the Old Hayloft Barn on Bridger Canyon Road. The evening invites neighbors to share recollections of when the canyon held more hay fields than architectural digest spreads. Miller, who moved to the canyon in 1998, says the event started after he realized he was the newest “old-timer” at the mailbox cluster. Hot cider and bison chili will be served. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a memory that predates the median home price. “We just sit and listen,” Miller said. “Sometimes that’s enough.”
