Friends of Bridger Bowl Ski Patrol host the 23rd annual gear swap at the Saddle Peak Day Lodge. Consignment opens Friday evening for skis, boards, boots, and outerwear from eras when wide meant 85 millimeters. Proceeds support the avalanche dog program, currently fundraising for a new puppy named Biscuit after the previous dog, Summit, retired to a ranch in the Madison Valley. Volunteers will offer binding checks and wax clinics throughout the day.

Hot chili and coffee available from the patrol shack. Everyone leaves with something they didn’t arrive with. The puppy will start training in December.
