NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bozeman Planning Department has received an application from Aspen Ridge Holdings, LLC, to amend the Official Zone Map for property located at 1420 West Babcock Street, currently zoned R-2 (Two-Family Residential), to R-4 (High Density Residential) for the purpose of constructing a four-story mixed-use development to be known as “The Hayloft Residences,” on the site formerly occupied by the Miller Family Hay Barn (circa 1922) and, prior to that, a hay field.

The proposed development includes forty-two (42) dwelling units, ground-floor retail designated for a “conceptual artisanal toast concept,” and a rooftop amenity deck with views of the Bridger Range partially obscured by the adjacent three-story “Bridger View Lofts” approved under Application No. 26-501.

A public hearing will be held before the City Commission on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers, 121 North Rouse Avenue. The hearing time has been selected to accommodate the schedules of the development team and the Planning Director. Written comments may be submitted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, which is before this notice is published.
