I’ve been hearing a lot of grumbling lately about the snow. “Too much snow,” some folks say. “When will it end?” others whine. I just don’t get it.
We live in a place where the mountains are right there, covered in white. That’s why most of us are here, isn’t it? If you didn’t want snow, maybe you should have stayed somewhere flat.
Every time it dumps, I see people struggling with their commutes, complaining about shoveling. Meanwhile, I’m already thinking about first chair. It’s a gift, pure and simple. We get to live in a postcard and ski fresh powder before work.
Some people act like winter is a surprise every year. It’s Montana! Embrace the cold, wax your skis, and stop complaining. More snow means more good times.
