Adult enrollment peaks in January and collapses the week the roads dry out. We have stopped taking it personally. The mountains are right there and we would also rather be on them.

Appointments January through April. After April fifteenth the desk is folded up and put against the wall and the mats go back down.

The same room. It is the same room. The mats roll up, the folding table comes out, and a person who was doing a kata on Thursday is sitting across from a shoebox of receipts on Saturday.
