Parking lot decides rec softball championship at Four Corners

The North 19th Brewing crew and the Belgrade Builders met Sunday for the co-ed softball title at the Four Corners complex. First pitch was scheduled for 6 p.m. The ball went up at 6:52.

Forty-three minutes earlier, both teams pulled into the lot. The complex occupies ground where alfalfa grew last summer. Now it holds three lighted diamonds, a mattress store, a taco franchise, and 387 parking spaces that vanish by 3:30 on a weekday.
