The initiative, temporarily dubbed “The Gallatin Valley Enlightenment Grid,” would allow subscribers to dedicate their purest thoughts and community spirit toward offsetting their energy use.

The idea germinated from several community forums, where attendees expressed a desire for a more holistic and less tangible form of energy. “It just feels right, you know?” explained Willow Creek, a long-time resident who moved here “about five years ago, so pretty much original.” She added, “My kombucha ferments better when it knows my intentions are pure.
