The City Commission met briefly on Tuesday to discuss the recent incident involving a local fourteen-year-old who was apprehended while in possession of a vintage .38 caliber Taurus revolver. While city officials are currently sorting through the legal ramifications of the event, most residents seem focused on the fact that the firearm in question was apparently stolen from a local garage that hasn’t been cleaned since 1994.

“It really brings to light the ongoing challenge of garage organization in our valley,” said Gary Putter, a longtime resident who spends most of his weekends rearranging his shed. “We have so many legacy items tucked away behind snowblowers and boxes of mid-nineties tax returns that we often forget exactly what we own. It’s important to know if you’re housing a classic piece of hardware or just a collection of rusty hand tools.”
