Storytelling night at Valley Feed draws standing room crowd

The hay bales were stacked high against the back wall of Valley Feed on Tuesday evening, leaving just enough room for fifty folding chairs and a microphone stand. By 6:30 p.m. the aisle was full too, and people stood three deep near the pallet jack.

The series, now in its third summer, invites anyone with a story about “making it work here” to take the mic for five minutes. No theme is assigned, but the housing market finds its way into most sets.
