Bozeman authorities are currently investigating a series of unusual bicycle incidents that have captured the attention of residents across the Gallatin Valley. The incidents involve several local teenagers, who, according to preliminary reports, have been observed utilizing creative, albeit unconventional, methods of bicycle acquisition and transportation.

Reports first surfaced from the newer developments near Four Corners, where Mrs. Eleanor Pringle, a long-time resident who recently moved from a smaller house downtown, noted a pattern. “I saw a young man, no older than fifteen, riding a very shiny mountain bike, much shinier than the one my grandson has,” Mrs. Pringle recounted from her porch overlooking what used to be a hayfield. “And then, a few days later, I saw another one, going the other direction, and it looked just as new, almost too new to be ridden on our dusty roads.”
